Our Top 5 Restaurant Picks for Valentine’s Day

It’s that time of year again- Valentine’s Day! As we all know, decision making can be the absolute worst, so we at Munch put together our favorite restaurants for a romantic Valentine’s Day (as if we haven’t made your decision making easy enough already 😉).

Elsie Rooftop

This restaurant is truly iconic- Elsie Rooftop is located in the first ever penthouse of New York City. The rooftop is heated and all the surfaces are sanitized between seatings- a major plus! The gorgeous views compliment the craft cocktails and delicious food, making it quite the romantic experience. With a 4-page drink menu and food from sushi to sliders, Elsie Rooftop has something for everyone.

Sunday in Brooklyn

Valentine’s Day is on a weekend this year, and that means…BRUNCH! Shake things up and treat your significant other to an amazing Valentine’s Day brunch. And even better news, Sunday in Brooklyn is following all Covid cleaning protocols. We love their pancakes, steak & eggs, and the avocado toast with whipped ricotta that will rock your world! The good thing about a Valentine’s Day brunch- more time to celebrate in the evening!

JG Melon

A New York classic! For a relaxed celebration, JG Melon is the place to go. Killer burgers, fries that slay- you literally can’t wrong when ordering here! Intimate seating is plentiful and so is the romance- especially if it’s your date’s first time here. Just remember it is cash only and yes, bloody marys are acceptable all day long!

Extra Virgin

The energy here is AMAZING! Great vibes, great staff, great service, and even better food! Extra Virgin excels at their “inventive Mediterranean food” with pastas, amazing side dishes, and seafood you’re going to want to write home about. ALSO, if you’re a fan of olive oil, they feature a new olive oil from all around the world every night! Extra Virgin has covered and heated outdoor dining to make your snowy evening out comfy and romantic.

The Greek

Calling all vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores! The Greek in Tribeca has an extensive, eclectic, and enticing menu that keeps its customers in mind (most dishes are gluten free and dairy free). The grilled haloumi holds a very special place in our hearts along with their keftedes and lamb chops. Between their food menu and cocktail menu, this is a truly special place to show your special someone.
